USA Haul

So on my recent trip to the States, I might have bought some things, so thought, why not share it!

To reed the post about the trip, click Here.

First category is Sephora, where if I am honest, I could have used a lot more money, but I was very good and restricted my self.

I got the starter kit from Sensationail in french Manicure. I also got the colours Midnight Rendezvous and Tag Me Taupe, and the Removal tool.

Bath and bodyworks I actually got from an Outlet mall, so not all of them are current scents. I got:
  • Lemon Mint Leaf (which I am so sad I didn’t get in a bigger size)
  • Spice
  • Vanilla Bergamot
  • Cotten
  • Lilac Blossom
  • Lakeside
  • Leaves (my favourite of them all)

Everyone who knows me, knows I am a big foodie, but I actually think I was really good at not bringing to much home. That being said, I did bring back multiple of some of the things in the picture.

  • Justin’s Chocolate Hazelnut Butter Blend
  • Justin’s Dark Chocolate Peanut Butter Cups
  • Chirardelli in flavours sea salt selection and sea salt soiree
  • Celestial tea in flavours Apple cinnamon, Candy cane lane and Gingerbread spice.
I will write individual reviews on the things I really like, once I have tried everything out, so look out for those coming soon.

HQ Hair and Feeluniqe Haul

I had run out of some of my can’t live without products, and had just received a 15% off code from HQ Hair, so nothing else to do than shop really.

While I was on the site, I came across Kérastase new Couture Styling range, and since I needed a new mousse and hair spray, I thought I would try them out as well.

Kérastase Specifique Dermo-Calm Bain Vital 250ml
This is one of my all time favourites shampoos, ever since i worked as a hairdresser 7 years ago. But had kind of forgot about it trying out so many other shampoos at the moment, but got all excited when I saw this on the site, even my scalp had a happy dance moment remembering the effects of this shampoo.

Kérastase Styling Laque Couture 300ml
Kérastase Styling Mousse Bouffant 150ml
These are both new products to me, I had seen an add for it, but not really heard that much about it. But since I am a big Kérastase fan, I sort of “HAD” to try it. So I review should be coming soon.

Loreal Tecni.Art Fix Design Fixing Spray 200ml
This spray has been in my beauty cupboard for the last 15 years, not that I use it daily, but it is defiantly one of the products I can’t live without.

SkinCeuticals Sheer Mineral UV Defense SPF 50 50ml
I have been so impressed with the SkinCeuticals Ultra Facial Defence SPF 50, that was in my October favourites, so I thought I would try this one out as well.

Medik8 Hydr8 B5 Skin Rehydration Serum 30ml
Now this is one of those products that I don’t think I will ever be able to live without. I have used it every day since I got introduced to it about 3 years ago.

I have to admit that I have always been intrigued, by English and American foods and sweets/candy.

When I was younger and living in Denmark, one of my favourite things was to go to the English and American shop in Copenhagen city centre. The shops were right next to each other and everything in there where very over priced, which meant I often went away from there with an empty wallet and only a small bag to show for it. But that just meant that it would be even more of a treat and not something I would do that often.

Today living in England I am obviously able to get everything English from the local supermarket, but my American candy fix I now get online.
It still isn’t something that happens that often, as in general I eat quite healthy and having a huge bag of Oreos in my cupboard, would quite quickly change that. But with a boyfriend that is crazy about Root beer and vanilla coke (that you can now get in the uk), we occasionally make an order.
My latest order was from and I have bought from them a few times, always with great service.
We got:
Double stuffed Oreos (because the American version doesn’t contain dairy, so great if your lactose intolerant).
Pop tarts, Brown Sugar Cinnamon (taste just like an amazing cinnamon roll when toasted. And again dairy free)
Snapple, Kiwi Strawberry (taste great, but the real winner for me with this product is, the pop noise the cap makes when you open it….I know I’m a bit nutty like that).
A&W Root beer (amazing on its own, but also great as a float)
A&W Cream Soda (haven’t tried before, but had an idea that I wanted to taste the difference from the English stuff, and maybe try making a lactose free version of Harry Potter butter beer).
Life savers, wint-o-green (my boyfriends absolute favourites)
Extra gum, root beer flavour.
Warheads (hardboiled sweets with extreme sour powder coating)
Toxic Waste (like warheads)
Skittles, Darkside (different flavours from original).
