Last Minute Presents from Waitrose

waitrosepresents

I was doing my grocery shopping in Waitrose the other day and browsing the aisles, yes! I am one of those annoying people, who love to explore the wonders of the supermarket and take way to long to do my shopping. But on my last visit, I notice just how many great things they actually have, that would make an amazing last minute present, that would make even the “difficult present finding person” happy.

1. My all time favourite sparkling wine (champagne) Nytimber, is hands down the best one I have ever tasted and we even had it at our wedding. Not only is this the best tasting sparkling wine I have ever tasted, but I think there is something special about giving a sparkling wine that is produced in England (hence why it is not called a champagne) by a company that is passionate about a great product and has won numerous prices in blind tasting, over sparkling wine from Champagne in France. Plus compared to the price of a Champagne on the same level as Nytimber, the price is a real bargain.

2. Still in the drink category, if the person who is receiving the present is more of a cocktail person than a wine person, then the Sipsmith Vodka or Gin is the perfect present. They are hand destilled in London and you can even type in the batch code from your bottle on their website and see what happened at the distillery the day your batch was born. Just Amazing!

£14.50-28.00

3. If your recipient is more a beer person, the St. Stefanus Belgian Beer is a fun gift, as the beer is made to mature in the bottle, meaning depending on how long you wait to drink it, the more dark and mature it gets. Pretty sure any beer lover, would find this incredibly exciting.

4. Now who doesn’t like Chocolate! and if your recipient can’t have dairy, gluten or soy, then this is probably the most thoughtful present to give, but anyone will like these, as they are truly amazing in taste by any chocolate truffle standard out there and are even Organic. Again this is a very passionated company located in England, that not only are passionate about their chocolates, but also about everyone who is involved in making the product.

5. Another great chocolate present is the Charbonnel et Walker chocolate truffles. Most people know this British luxury chocolate brand and will know they are getting a special present if receiving this. The most known is probably the pink champagne, but if you want to give something a bit different, that they might not have tried, then why not get the Dark Marc de Champagne or Sea Salt truffles.

Hope you find the best last minute present if you still need to find a present for someone.
