Booja Booja Chocolate Truffles

If you have not tried the Booja-Booja Chocolate truffles yet, you have been missing out! These are quite possibly one of my favourite chocolate truffles in the world and as luck would have it, they are also dairy free, so perfect if like me you are lactose intolerant.

I have been buying these for years and they are such a big part of my life that I sort of assumed that everyone knew about them, but I am realising that not all do, but the people I have introduced to them have all loved them, so I thought it was about time they got a post on the blog.

They are organic, dairy free, gluten free and soya free, so amazing for all the sufferes out there, as you would not be able to tell the difference between an artisan truffle containing dairy, so no compromising on taste with these.

There are a few versions of their truffles, some you will find in the chilled section and has to be kept in your fridge and some you will find on the shelfs. Some of the flavours are the same and some are different, but it just depends on the practicality of handling the chocolates, as they are equally good in my opinion.

My favourite flavours are:

Almond & Sea Salt Caramel, which is like an artisan version of Toblerone (from the chilled selection)

Hazelnut, if you like Nutella, this is an artisan version (there is both a chilled and shelf version of these).

Rum Sozzled Sultana, if you love rum raisin flavoured treats, this is the one for you (shelf version)

Fine De Champagne, an amazing champagne truffle (both a chilled and a shelf version, though I haven’t been able to get my hands on the chilled version to try yet).

I currently get mine from either Waitrose of Whole Foods, but not all Waitroses stock the chilled version and either Waitrose or Whole Foods stock the whole line, so you might need to do some exploring to get your hands on the flavour you fancy trying.
