Korres Wild Rose Sleeping Facial and CC Cream.

I really debated on whether or not to review these products, as I have ended up not being able to use either of them personally, though they seem like great products. But here is why.

I had only heard great things about the Korres Wild Rose Sleeping Facial and felt like it had actually become a bit of a cult product in the blogging world, so decided to give it a try.
And it really does seem to be a great product that did make my skin look more glowing, hydrated and fresh when waking up in the morning.

But the thing that has made me stop using it is the smell. For me the smell is very overpowering and reminds me of strongly scented old lady powder products and I would literally wake up several times a night because of the scent. I did perceiver, thinking I would get use to the scent, but after to many nights of not getting the best sleep because of it, I had to stop using it.
Definitely a great product if you are not sensitive to strong scents or perfume.

Now to the Korres Wild Rose CC Cream with spf 30, which was actually a bit of a impulse buy as the website where buying from was having a 2 for 1 deal on the Wild Rose range. I did try googleing reviews and swatches before buying, but as this is a pretty new product in the uk, there wasn’t a lot of reviews on it, so I decided to go for the Medium shade, as I am normally in-between light and medium, but often find that light shades makes me seem ghost like. This has unfortunately turned out to be to dark for me and has a bit of a red undertone to it, so not even sure this would be a match for me when more tanned.

I did however wear it around the house one day, when staying in all day, just to get a feel for the product. The feel and finish of the product is actually really great, it evened out the skin tone, camouflaging pores and mattifying the skin ever so slightly. Really fells comfortable on the skin and the scent is subtle and fresh, so a real joy to wear…….ah if only the shade was a match for me!!! But that is the risk you sometimes take when buying online.
